I don’t believe that people are born homosexual. There. I said it.

The gays have tried to convince people in the last generation that they are born this way and they cannot help it and so to deny them their “rights” is unfair and unjust. They liken their situation to that of blacks, women and other minorities.

There is a big difference between someone being born female or black and someone who chooses to engage in sodomy. One is a characteristic and the other is an activity one chooses to do.

One is not compelled to have sex with another person, whether of the same sex or the opposite sex. One has inclinations but also the ability to engage in self-control. Normally one has attraction to the opposite sex. When one has same-sex attractions, it is because something happened during their psycho-sexual development.

But gays will have none of it. They insist they are born gay and cannot help being homosexual.

So controversy has erupted over comments by actress Cynthia Nixon, who claims she was born bisexual, lived as a straight woman for years but is now living as a lesbian. She recently admitted that she was gay by choice; she then claimed she was bisexual and the choice was to be partnered with a man or a woman.

(Source: askmen.com)

Such bunk!

For years I suspected the filth and depravity of Sex and the City is what led Nixon to make the choice to be gay. I never thought she was born that way after being with a man for so many years.

And the fact that so many Hollywood celebrities are coming out–as if that is heroic in this day and age!–is not because there are so many people who are born gay. It is because it is cool and hip to be alternative, to be cutting edge.

What is heroic is for Nixon to admit–albeit she tried to take it back–that it is a lifestyle that is chosen. The fact that the gay community got so upset with her indicates what we all know in our hearts–that the gay lifestyle is abnormal and undesirable. They know that if the American people didn’t buy the lie of gay-by-birth, support for the gay agenda would be even lower than it is now.

The hypocrisy of the gay agenda is they want it both ways: they want us to believe people are gay-by-birth but they also encourage people to explore their sexuality to see if they are gay. If one were born gay, then one would follow the inclination. When young people are told to not be closed off to different sexual options and to try things that they might be surprised that they like, they are being told to make a choice.

If one is born homosexual, one would want to engage in same sex relations without being told. When one is encouraged to try it, it is because it is not the natural inclination but mere curiosity or peer pressure. Think of teenage girls who make out to please their male friends.

So the purveyors of the gay agenda cannot be allowed to have it both ways. And we who know the truth need to stand up and let it out of the closet.

I thought I had seen everything but when I saw ads for “GCB” I looked into what it was about.

The new ABC show–what other network would do this?–debuts in March as a comedy about Christian churchgoers who are really bitches out to get an old friend who returns to the community.

Hollywood is obsessed with Christians whom they deem hypocritical and is determined to expose them. Yet they won’t pay any attention to the numerous Christians who do good works and are decent people.

Of course, the latter does not make for an interesting show.

(Source: Pegasusnews.com)

But a show about women scheming can be made without castigating a whole religion.

Can you imagine a show called Good Jewish Bitches? Or Good Muslim Bitches? Or even Good Lesbian Bitches? I don’t think calling them GJB, GMB or GLB, respectively, would lessen the protests.

Then again I can’t see any of those shows making next season’s schedule.

But this goes to show what is wrong with liberals in the entertainment industry. They have no respect for the majority of people in this country and they want to shove down our throats their anti-religious, specifically anti-Christian, agenda–at all costs.

I read the review in Entertainment Weekly which quotes one of the actors, Leslie Bibb, as saying:

This show shines a light on people who say, ‘I go to church every Sunday, I’m a God-fearing person.’ [Good Christian Bitches] is like, ‘Hey, y’all, let’s just look at what’s really going on.’

So we need a TV program to have a goal of exposing Christian hypocrites? This is a far cry from the wholesome entertainment that Hollywood produced decades ago. And the reality is we are all sinners so why target catty Christian women–and admittedly some exist–and not some other group?

In fact, what about exposing gays who frequent bath houses and the like, seeking sodomy with strangers? That has implications for public health and could be just as interesting as GCB claims it will be.

Or how about a show about the Obama White House showcasing his many apologies to other nations, his inability to govern, his failure to fix the economy and his choices to golf rather than go to church? We had the West Wing so why not a timely show about our incompetent leader?

Heck, another show with an agenda could be liberal college professors trying to brainwash hapless students. Not only is this true, it is a serious problem where conservative students are at an academic disadvantage due to liberal intolerance.

So many shows that could have a legitimate agenda but which would not serve Hollywood elitist misconceptions about the real problems in society! Gossiping church women are at the top of the list of cultural problems we have today. Hollywood, spot on as usual.

In reality, these cowards just like to take potshots at their perceived enemy–Christians.

May all of us who are Christians refuse to watch the show and may all people of goodwill join us and not be fooled by the shortened name of GCB.

Today is the 39th anniversary of the worst decision ever made by the U.S. Supreme Court, Roe v. Wade. It led to the mass slaughter of over fifty-four million babies.

MORE THAN 50 MILLION CHILDREN NEVER SAW THE LIGHT OF DAY.

This is mind-boggling and so we don’t face it. We ignore it as a done deal, as something that we have to live with.

But we have a moral responsibility to oppose legal abortion. We cannot blindly stand by and do nothing. And while we cannot all be activists marching on Washington, we all at the very least have a responsibility to vote for candidates who are pro-life.

We certainly cannot willingly vote for supporters of the invented “right” to abortion. Which means anyone claiming to be pro-life or Christian or religious cannot vote for President Obama, the most pro-abortion president in American history.

Obama may not have done much but he has serviced his pro-abortion supporters. He can be expected to be even more radical in his second term when he does not have to face the voters.

So no pro-life (or sane) person can vote for Obama. One cannot use the excuse of not knowing his record. The blank page is now full of his “achievements.” The semi-practicing Catholics can no longer claim ignorance.

In addition to voting pro-life at all levels of government, we must live a pro-life lifestyle. Maybe we cannot attend the March for Life tomorrow, but we can write letters to the editor, give witness to confused friends and neighbors and stay informed.

March for Life symbol

We can be warriors for life. Would you have been silent during the time of slavery and said nothing? Or would you have joined the abolitionists in advocating for all of God’s children?

I for one would like to think I would have been an abolitionist, opposed to slavery, just like I am proudly pro-life, opposed to abortion.

As evil as slavery was, it did not involve killing another person. While slavery is horrible and unimaginable to the modern mind, and rightly so, abortion does not seem to give us pause. Yet it is the intentional killing of an innocent unborn child.

If this does not motivate us to do what we can to help the helpless, then what kind of people are we?

Pray for an end to abortion in America!

Seeing President Obama belt out the Motown tune–and sounding quite good and smooth–reminded me of why he will win and any Republican of the bunch running will lose. He is supremely self-confident, undeniably charismatic and sufficiently attractive. For someone who is more akin to Jimmy Carter than Ronald Reagan, that is quite amazing.

Our guys are dithering, boring and unmemorable. Newt Gingrich may argue well and be a good debater, but he has a ton of baggage. His conversion to Catholicism will not provide cover for his serial cheating. He also is mercurial and inconsistent. Any man who would sit on a couch with Nancy Pelosi and carp about so-called global warming will never get my vote. That is not conservative or even rational.

Rick Santorum has great morals but lacks personality. Maybe he would be a great vice president for someone. If only we could find that someone.

Sarah Palin is starting to look good, isn’t she?

(Source: Archives.com)

Ron Paul is wonderful on so many things–especially isolationism and the Federal Reserve–but he will not be able to defeat Obama. Not only is he old, he will be seen as a humorless crank against Mr. Velvet Voice.

And then there is the nominal front runner, Mitt Romney, who came in second last time to John McCain. Stop and think about it. I don’t think it was because of his flip flopping; back then it was due to his Mormonism, which may still be a problem. Compared to a Muslim secularist, Mormons don’t seem so strange, magic underwear and all.

At least he looks like the president. But he does not act like one. He is a businessman and I don’t think he is interested in the other issues. Right now with the economy being what it is, maybe that is enough.

Besides his need to be moderate Mitt, Romney is so careful that he ends up making mistakes. Like the thing with his tax returns? So he is rich. Apparently that is more objectionable than being Mormon these days.

Being wealthy is not a crime. This country is built on rags to riches stories. He should be a role model; he should not be ashamed.

But he is embarrassed and is playing into the hands of the liberals.

Which he will also do as the nominee. So we will lose.

I have been saying this for a long time in the hope I would be wrong, but the situation gets worse and worse.

(Source: Reason.com)

If Newt somehow gets the nomination, Obama will run as the calm family man and will get the moderate family man vote.

If Mitt gets the nomination, as expected, he will do as McCain did three years ago and not question Obama. He will be wishy washy; he will play it safe; and he will lose.

My only hope for him is that he gets angry and Obama makes mistakes that the media is willing to cover.

You know, when Hell freezes over.

I am so sick of celebrities sharing their thoughts. Honestly, we all know they are idiots for the most part. The more stupid one is, the more likely one shares thoughts on politics or religion that are antithetical to what most Americans believe.

Think Brad Pitt and his history of inane comments about God and religion. While he was not given brains, he was given looks and he should be grateful for that and for an easy life. He turned his back on his parents’ Christian faith. And on God. Irresponsible considering he is helping Angelina Jolie raise six children, who have the right to know the truth.

There is also Cameron Diaz, who publicly disdains marriage and glorifies sex. Perhaps she could get the former if she were not so loose in providing the latter. She should return to her modeling roots and keep her mouth shut and look pretty. Or as pretty as she can be at her age. She’s not 20 anymore, but then again neither is Pitt.

Could it be aging that loosens the tongue to speak foolishly? Perhaps among the aging movie star set.

But being foolish is especially the province of the young and that includes young actors. Which brings me to Daniel Radcliffe.

(Source: deadline.com)

Yes, I was reading about Harry Potter in Parade last week and he made the following statement:

There was never [religious] faith in the house. I think of myself as being Jewish and Irish….My dad believes in God, I think. I’m not sure if my mom does. I don’t. I have a problem with religion….Religion leaves no room for human complexity.”

Spoken like a true 22-year-old know-it-all!

On the one hand, he is not entirely to blame. A big danger in mixed marriages–his dad is Protestant and his mother is Jewish–is that the children get no faith. That much he confirmed. Shame on them for not caring to share their faith.

On the other hand, he is a typical snotnose actor who wants to gain acceptance in Hollywood. Other than being a homosexual, the best way to be “in” in Hollywood is to be an atheist–or at least questioning. Since he is not gay, he has limited options.

It is so obnoxious that he would share his idiotic thoughts in this cavalier way. It is one thing to be an atheist; it is another to offend the majority who constitute the audience.

Religion leaves no room for human complexity? Really? What complexity do actors have? What does that sentence even mean? I suspect he does not know how stupid he sounds. Among his friends he is probably considered smart. Which should make us very careful when we watch their movies.

I am annoyed but I wish to be a good Christian. I encourage everyone to pray for these people. While they seem to have it all–fame, fortune, talent (theoretically talent)–they really can be empty inside. And maybe that is why they have issues with God. They are to be pitied for sure. And they need to be open to truth for their own sake.

George W. Bush’s greatest legacy as president will be his strong, young Constitutionally minded Supreme Court appointees. Despite the many problems of our federal government, which sometimes include the Court, it also sometimes gets it so right.

Perfect example: the 9-0 decision that protects religious freedom in this nation. Unlike abortion and sodomy which are not in the Constitution but have been deemed “rights,” freedom of religion is a fundamentally protected right enshrined in the very first Amendment to the Constitution.

This is a true right from God that cannot be taken away. This is not a right to tamper with, but who do you think knows better than God and our Founding Fathers?

You would be correct to guess President Barack H. Obama, the man who ran as a moderate but who has been anything but. His administration wanted to chip away at our First Amendment protections by challenging the ministerial exception that would have allowed the government to impact the employment practices of religious institutions.

As the Catholic League pointed out in a celebratory press release, Obama could have tried to force the Catholic Church to ordain women as priests. Equal protection, right? That is not how it works.

Who on earth is the government to tell the people of God how to run their institutions? The government needs to be kept in line and thankfully the Court did what it is supposed to do–interpret the Constitution to protect actual rights.

(Source: tristarsecurityproducts.com)

Such a novel idea.

Yet one that is always under attack. Between liberals like Obama and atheist haters, our religious institutions are at risk. As is liberty itself.

This case should be a wake up call that we cannot take our freedom of religion for granted. Think about the “progress” of the gay agenda which has increased their “rights” at the expense of people of faith.

As I have previously discussed, a religious person who objects to gay marriage can be compelled by the government to violate their conscience or lose their ability to make a living as they see fit. Think of the photographer or cake maker who do not want to service gay weddings. They get fined for violating their conscience.　Their freedom of conscience cannot be less than a homosexual’s so-called right to marry.

The first right is real and really in the Constitution; the latter is contrived to promote an agenda of a well-funded minority group.

Enjoy this victory but know it may be short-lived if Obama gets a second term and has an opportunity to appoint more justices who think like he does.

Watching half a dozen boring white men on the stage tonight in New Hampshire makes me long for a charismatic leader who reflects America but could lead it. And who could defeat President Barack Obama.

I miss Ronald Reagan. He may have been white but he had a great personality and even better ideas. All the candidates need to do is to repeat what he said and expose Obama for what he is.

Instead, these men pick on each other, almost identical save for Rep. Ron Paul. He is at least coming up with different ideas and is not the same old, same old.

Why will the Republican lose in November? This debate is a great summary. A microcosm of Republican failure.

First, the debate mediators are leftist idiots. With 8.5% unemployment and unimaginable debt, ABC’s George Stephanopoulos spent about fifteen minutes hounding the candidates on their position on legal contraception. Yes, with all the pressing problems–including social problems such as gay marriage and abortion–he is asking whether Gov. Mitt Romney believes that contraception is permissible under the Constitution’s alleged right to privacy.

On most questions, he let the candidates say what they want. But on this most pressing of issues he pressed and pressed and compelled Romney to answer. The problem is, except among crazy Upper West Side Manhattanites, no one is concerned that anyone wants to or would ban contraceptives.

I believe contraception is wrong but I know that this is not an issue for most Americans. This is not something that the presidential candidates should be addressing. I would be delighted if they could curb abortion. I don’t foresee even the most conservative president–think Reagan–being able to ban abortion, let alone contraceptives.

So why make this an issue? One, they want the Republicans to look like kooks. Second, crazy liberals think that Bible thumping conservatives really want to invade their bedrooms. And that is one place that no one in his right mind wants to be unless he wants to see debauchery worthy of the Romans!

Speaking of social issues (since the liberal questioners seem more interested in them than in the economy which actually interests the voters), Diane Sawyer’s ridiculous question about how one would answer the poor homosexual’s query about how he can form a long-term, loving, committed relationship without gay marriage made me angry.

Why did not she ask about the poor baby in the womb who is slaughtered because some slut wants to keep her figure? What do we tell that baby? What about the Catholic who is told she must violate her conscience and make a wedding cake for a gay marriage? What about the person who is victimized by the illegal alien because we don’t protect our borders?

Diane wants to impress the ladies who lunch at Michael’s in New York. She is totally out of touch with the American people. I think she is not aging well and so she is becoming increasingly liberal to compensate. She must be very popular at dinner parties with her liberal, elitist friends!

I could not help but watch the debate even though it was a waste of time. No one emerged. Romney seemed acceptable and since we will be stuck with him, that is good. Speaker Newt Gingrich made a good point about discrimination against the Catholic Church. Ron Paul made some good points about the economy and foreign policy. Sen. Rick Santorum lost me when he said we need to be most afraid of Iran. Gov. Jon Huntsman is not worth commenting on and Gov. Rick Perry did not misspeak so that was a good thing.

But there was no Reagan. There was no indication that anyone on that stage was going to be able to defeat Obama. And that is heartbreaking. Worse, it is devastating for this country.

Happy New Year! 2011 was just another bad year in Obama’s America. Whatever people think of President Bush, the economy was good during most of his tenure. If only he had not gotten sidetracked by war…

What is done is done and the same is true for President Obama. Despite his contention that he is an accomplished president, he is not in the sense that he has done anything that America needs done.

He has not helped with the jobs situation or the economy or the deficit. He has forced Obamacare down our collective throats with the help of Nancy Pelosi, the former Speaker of the House. If the average American were asked what he has done, other than health care destruction, the only thing they may think of is the death of Osama bin-Laden.

What scares me is what Obama has done through Executive Orders that we don’t even know about. Of what is he so proud? Ask yourself that. The answer is not obvious.

What is obvious is that we don’t need or want a second term to see what else he might do. Even liberals should agree that a man who escalated the war in Afghanistan–and who has pulled out of Iraq possibly prematurely–has not put his country first. He also has not closed Guantanamo as he said he would. In fact, he signed a bill into law that would allow American citizens to be detained at the infamous detention facility if they are deemed terrorists.

Who needs a Bill of Rights with Obama around?

(Source: reddogreport.com)

His plans for this country remain radical and not what the American people want. He ran as a moderate–Mr. Hope & Change–and has been anything but. He seems indifferent, vacationing and golfing and giving speeches. Anything but governing. But I think he is doing exactly what he wants, confident in being re-elected. Arrogant actually.

But then again we could not have a worse Republican field if we tried. Whoever gets the nomination will be underwhelming and probably afraid of Obama.

My conclusion is that for those who love and want to save this country we need to pray for the defeat of Obama. It doesn’t even matter who the nominee is for the Republicans since many, if not most, of us will be unhappy with the candidate. Nevertheless, anybody–and I mean anybody–will be better than Obama. Even the worst Republican will do no worse than either President Bush. And hopefully with a Republican Congress full of Tea Party people, the next president will not repeat recent mistakes and will try to imitate President Reagan.

The key is to send Obama back to his beloved Chicago where he can teach and have dinner parties with Bill Ayers.

With so many people dependent on the government dole–from unemployment to food stamps to any number of state and federal programs–they will want Obama and his Democrats to keep them going.

Half of Americans don’t even pay federal income tax and are content with the other half supporting them. And these people vote. Along with the unions who also want their handouts.

So winning will be very difficult. We need divine intervention.

I urge you to pray for President Obama’s defeat in the general election of November 2012. I am thinking a novena but will advise on that later. For now, let us all commit to pray daily for Obama’s defeat.

Only God can save us from ourselves. So don’t worry who wins in Iowa or New Hampshire. It doesn’t really matter as long as we pray for this nation and its leaders and rely on God.

Despite the general incompetence of the Republican candidates for the party’s nomination, there may be hope after all for this nation.

For whatever reason, recent polls are showing President Obama isn’t the potential winner of the 2012 race. See here and here. He is not so popular and he would lose to Gov. Mitt Romney. Yes, middle-of-the-road Mitt!

This is progress since his poll numbers went up when he happened to be president when public enemy number one Osama bin Laden was killed. As if Bam was one of the Seals who took him out.

When a Democrat runs as a family man who is strong on defense, that spells trouble for the Republicans. With the likes of Newt Gingrich running for president, we have a hard time saying we are the party of family values, don’t we?

(Source: WhiteHouse.gov)

But I guess all his golfing and vacationing does not reflect well on Bam. It has to be a commentary on him and what he has (not) accomplished since the Republicans–including and especially Mitt–don’t have a lot of backbone and charisma.

So that is good news!

And more good news, Her Royal Highness Nancy Pelosi, former Speaker of the House and alleged Catholic, may not want to run for another term. She is 71 (which is obvious despite the apparent plastic surgery) and does not want to be in Congress if she is not running the show. That is no fun, we can all agree.

Based on the numerous idiotic comments she has made over the years, she really should retire. I cannot decide if she is stupid or if she is beginning to suffer from dementia. I suspect it is the former because I know many people 70 and older who are in their right mind.

(Source: LAProgressive.com)

They are conservatives in other words.

If Bam and Nancy go, that alone would be progress for this country. So as the horrible year of 2011 comes to an end, 2012 is a year for hope.

We have to hope and pray that the American people wake up and vote out the liberals–Democrats and Republicans–who are spending this nation into oblivion. And who are destroying our defense. And our pride. And our exceptionalism.

So have hope and happy new year!

Time has run out. Unless one is “celebrating” Kwanzaa on Monday or is in the middle of Hanukkah, the HOLIDAY that is coming up is Christmas. That is the reason for all the running around this past month.

And it isn’t for Kwanzaa gifts!

It is for Christmas which is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, you know the Savior of the world. The purpose for our being. The reason for the season–and all those undeserved presents.

And even though we all know that the season’s greetings are for Christmas, we are so afraid of OFFENDING anyone that we are willing to offend Christ instead.

Not smart right? I am even guilty of it–although I try to limit the happy holiday junk to when I am unsure if the other person is a Christian.

When I am confident–even in the workplace–that the person is Christian, then I say, “Merry Christmas!” I am getting bolder the more this is becoming an issue. Every year the situation gets worse.

Making it more necessary for us to share our faith.

What surprises me is that when I send Christmas greetings to fellow Christians, I often get “Happy holidays!” back. If the argument is not to offend, then it is baseless since I am likely a Christian if I am sending Christmas wishes. If not a Christian, I am obviously tolerant since I started with “Merry Christmas!”.

But my favorite is when I initiate “Merry Christmas” and the recipient appears stunned. (This happened just the other day.) A very nice lady stood before me with a Dan Quayle-how-do-you-spell-potato? stare in response to hearing the scary C-word. She then uttered–wait for it!–”Have a happy holiday!”

I would have a delightful holiday if only someone would admit what holiday it is I am supposed to be happy about.

Rocket science to be sure.

So I am saying to all of you dear people who are taking the time to read this, “Merry Christmas!”

And if you are celebrating Hanukkah, which continues through this weekend until early next week, I wish you a “Happy Hanukkah!”

Finally, if you are celebrating the faux-holiday of Kwanzaa, I say, “Get a life. That is not a real holiday and you know it.” Read about its history here.

And don’t forget, Christmas starts on Sunday and lasts twelve days. It does not end when one rushes the stores to return unwanted, ill-fitting, shockingly tacky gifts.
